3. Overall integration and testing
The hardware design mainly consists of processor and system architecture selection, touch screen hardware selection and integration, communication module design and integrated communication module, etc. Select a high-performance, low-power processor suitable for smart meter applications, considering the processor's computing power and power consumption control to meet the needs of real-time data processing and remote communication. At the same time, design a reasonable system architecture, including power management, clock control, data storage and other modules. According to the introduction in the touch screen technology overview, select the touch screen technology suitable for the application, and select the touch screen module of appropriate size and resolution according to actual needs.
In the hardware design, the touch screen is integrated with the smart meter motherboard, and its connection with the processor and display is stable and reliable. The communication module design is to realize remote data transmission and control, and design integrated communication modules such as WiFi modules, Bluetooth modules or mobile communication modules. Through these communication modules, smart meters can interact with energy management systems, smart home systems, etc.
The software design mainly consists of the following 3 modules.
(1) Operation interface design: Design an intuitive and user-friendly user interface so that users can easily query, set and control power data through the touch screen. The interface design should take into account the needs of different user groups, as well as the aesthetics and ease of use of the interface layout.
(2) Data acquisition and processing: Write software programs to realize real-time acquisition and processing of power consumption data such as current and voltage, calculate parameters such as power usage and power factor, and display the processed data on the touch screen.
(3) User data security and privacy protection: To ensure the security and privacy of user data, encrypt the data transmission process, design a reasonable user authentication mechanism, and restrict unauthorized access. At the same time, back up user data regularly to prevent data loss or damage.
3. Overall integration and testing
Overall integration and testing mainly include the following 3 modules.
(1) Overall integration of hardware and software: Integrate hardware design and software design to ensure that hardware components such as processors, touch screens, and communication modules can work together and interact normally with software programs.
(2) System testing and verification: Perform comprehensive system testing and verification on the designed smart meter with touch screen. The tests include functional testing, performance testing, stability testing, user interaction testing, etc., to ensure that the functions of the smart meter are operating normally.
(3) User experience survey: Through the user experience survey, we collect user feedback and suggestions on the smart meter with touch screen, and continuously optimize and improve the product to improve user satisfaction. The success of the design and implementation stage will lay a solid foundation for the practical application of the smart meter with touch screen, ensuring that the smart meter can stably and reliably provide users with efficient energy management services.
